I got sucked into the idea that I could quickly accessorize my new Nikon camera by simply getting this apparently very comprehensive collection of items - bag, tripod, flash, batteries and on and on. When I got it I realized that you simply can't have all this stuff and quality too. The tripod, the flash, the bag - they are all the cheapest and flimsiest versions of these items you might find anywhere.
