SVP Acqua DC-1231R 12MP Max. Digital Still Camera with waterproof case
This is a Christmas present for my teenage son, who will be going on a Marine Biology trip later in winter. He has not used it yet; however, it did arrive promptly and in good shape.
I bought this just before our trip to Aruba. The secret to this has to be take as many pictures as possible – it is digital so there is no cost. I am pleased with the images but aiming the camera is difficult and requires practice. You cannot see the screen on the back of the camera, shutter speed is a little slower than what I am used to, and when you are snorkling there really isn’t time to review the shot you just took to see if you missed the item of interest or not. I bought this to get away from the disposables and feel the investment was well made. I’m sure I’ll get even better photos next time. (Only thing I did not like was the almost non-existent instructions for use of camera – kind of have to figure it out on your own)
